My Journey…

I grew up in the Des Moines area and graduated from Lincoln High School. I continued my education and attended Drake University in Business Analytics. While attending Drake I also worked as a professional dancer for Iowa Energy, now the Iowa Wolves until 2016. A year later I met my husband on a dating site and it was history from there. We have been very blessed with our two children, Dominic and Gianna. Our little family also includes a Belgian Shepitweiler named Jordy and a Pitweiler named Gatsby. I continue to work my 9-5 Business Analyst job but in 2024 I realized something was missing. This is when I began to watch TikTok videos, trying to learn how to bake bread. This new venture started giving me a calm and focus that I had lost over the years and helped to give me a newfound personal purpose. Now bread making has become a second beginning for me and has helped me persevere through all of life’s little tests from marital barriers to motherhood. I feel that it is very important in life to find something that brings you focus and synergy while helping create the calm and purpose within your own heart and soul. This path has helped me to calm the storms in my marriage, family, and personal growth. Thank you for being here, having interest in following my journey, learning with and from me, while sharing fun and tough personal stories along the way. My motto comes from the concept that we all need something for our hearts to be full, but that process must have adaptation, compassion, and patience. That is all you really “Knead For The Heart!”
